As far as failing goes, I just don't see it happening. They are rock solid, 
and more reliable thank I could have hoped for. As I mentioned in my last 
post, I have ridden the hell out of them this year and have not changed the 
pads once, nor even had to adjust them... Damn I love these things. 
They are indeed heavier, but I have never been one of those techno-weenies 
who counts each and every gram on my bike.
