Java is only semi-topical in this echo to start with. A lawsuit related
to C++ would be semi-topical, and a lawsuit related to Java is _really_
starting to stretch things. This lawsuit isn't even directly related to
Java, but to a contract between two companies, covering marketing of a
product using Sun's trademark on Java.
Needless to say, that's getting quite a ways away from topical at best.
I'd suggest that anybody interested in the subject pick up the text of
the contract from either Sun's or MS's web site, and then pick up an
echo where computer related law is topical, and have at a serious
disucssion of the subject.
Later,
Jerry.
