Those are the major new concepts, I think. Most of the RL> rest is just forgetting old limitations (like "dgroup") dgroup? What is a dgroup? My Amiga supports multi-threading, but I've never messed with it because it takes some work. I am guessing that's easier to do with OS/2. PM means Presentation Manager, right? I've already done GUI programming on the ST and Amiga, so that shouldn't be any big problem to pick up. What is a DLL? Oh wait! Is that anything like our dynamic libraries on the Amiga? If so, that should be easy enough to pick up. RL> "Integrated development environment". I.E. it's the built in editor RL> that you can compile from. Oh, no big deal then. --- Spot 1.3a #535* Origin: The Land Beyond (1:3612/42.26) SEEN-BY: 105/42 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 807 808 809 934 955 712/407 SEEN-BY: 712/515 628 704 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 3612/42 3615/50 396/1 270/101 105/103 42 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
