RL> I got so sick of the docs I wrote up my own, but they're not ready to RL> release yet. I was busy working on "bake" (That's a make replacement RL> which is a heck of a lot easier to use. I've never used "make" for anything. Most of the C compilers I've used have had GUI shells that handled everything automagically. BTW, I just recently got GCC running on my Amiga. I had a copy on CD-ROM with an automatic script to initialize it and set everything up. Of course it was awfully slow running from CD-ROM, but I didn't have space on the hard drive. Unfortunately, I blew a SCSI controller, and I cannot get the new one to access the CD-ROM for some reason. :-( I will keep working on it. Anyhow, I found GCC is not really that hard to use once it's installed correctly. Very likely that's where I will start when I get my OS/2 platform going. Unfortunately, these hardware problems will cause even more delays in getting my new system together. --- Spot 1.3a #535* Origin: The Land Beyond (1:3612/42.26) SEEN-BY: 105/42 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 807 808 809 934 955 712/407 SEEN-BY: 712/515 628 704 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 3612/42 3615/50 396/1 270/101 105/103 42 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
