It's easy.  Just pick a time when they aren't absolutely packed solid,
then just ask the stationmaster.  You may have to wait a train or two,
but they have always been more than happy to put me aboard every time
I've asked.
If you ride the monorail at Walt Disney World, be sure to ask the pilot
for your Official Monorail Pilot's Licence (it's free).  Sorry, the
monorail trip at Disneyland is too short for them to distribute Pilot's
Licences.
