Being fairly new to the net I found myself aghast and awash in an endless
tide of Junk Email, get rich quick schemes, Sex solicitations. Endless
waiting to access busy URLS (Even some not busy). I offer the Web/FTP/EMAIL/
TELNET to my callers for free. Most simply use the web-browser access,
I have only a few that can stomach email and the newsgroups much more then
a few weeks. Many Have commented on the quality of postings of the Fido type
Networks as opposed to the "netgroups'. I agree with their assement, by and
large a self-policing moderater directed fido echo is MUCH more enjoyable
then a non-controllable Citizens Band Computer Port....
- Just my two cents...
