Hi, AG> We don't neccessarily need this one. We can handle this by creating AG> "correct" (writ|read)maps.dat ... to what I know "CHRS: IBMPC 2" is AG> the standard for CP437 and only MsgEd refers to it as "CHRS: CP437 AG> 2". For me this won't help much. In german echos you will encounter problems, because there you have a lot of messages with a "CHRS: IBMPC 2" kludge, but CP850 encoding. CP437 will not work correctly AFAIK. We can add an alias to CP437 in the default configuration. It is much better to be able to change this dynamically. This might not be "correct", but it is more userfriendly.
