 When I was a senior in high school, I had a 49 Olds business coupe.  That 
was the smallest sedan body that GM made.  The back seat was nothing more 
than an ornament.  Anyway, after graduation, I put a 53 engine and 37 La 
Salle tranny in it.
One nite I was cruising the highway to nowhere when I was passed by a brand 
new 59 Plymouth Fury.  With nothing better to do, I creeped up on his tail.  
When he figured out that  I wasn't a cop, the driver hit the gas.  I passed 
him in 2nd gear at 120mph, honked when I was along side him and shifted into 
third...Those 2.70:1 gears in the diff sure gave that car a lot of top end.
