that has nothing to do with the parameters (tho you realize that 28800 is a 
strange port to use =) ). You need to have a fossil driver loaded (bnu/x00 - 
dos, sio - os2) and active on that port.

how about
echo + Parameters: -s%1 -b%2 -p%3 -t%4 >> max.log
that won't write the time/date, but you'll be able to tell because maximus 
will start right after that and put the date etc in. Exactly what are you 
trying to accomplish with this anyways?
