Ciao Steffen,

about :Q: Dialog as main window
JdBP>> WinDlgBox suitable for your needs ?
SO> Apparently not. The dialog window does appear on the screen, but
SO> if I omit the FCF_SHELLPOSITION frame flag, the window has no
SO> title bar and no border (and thus no minmax and size buttons
SO> either) at all, despite the fact that the appropriate flags are
SO> set. Adding FCF_SHELLPOSITION to the frame flags yields a
SO> window with all the controls needed but then the screen position
SO> and dimensions are, of course, not as wanted.
Well, have you tried to create your dialog without the WS_VISIBILE style bit?
You could then call WinSetWindowPos to position and size your still-not-visible
dialog window, and then call WinShowWindow to make it visible.
Hope it helps.
