Had lunch at a place called Lili's Bistro in Fort Worth (on Magnolia, just a
little west of Henderson) a couple of days ago. Actually was heading somewhere
else, ended up at Lili's by accident. What a find, the food was spectacular. I
just had a salad and some nachos, my girlfriend had "Texas steak" (ground beef
in pepper sauce) with fries, sounds like your basic American lunch, but every
bite was extraordinary. Ambiance is no more than OK, but the service is fast
and friendly. They're a little pricey, but not inordinately so. I understand
that they get a little fancier (and more expensive) for dinner, I'm eagerly
anticipating checking out that action on my next visit to Cowtown.
