| subject: | QWK networks in TG |
Everyone, I just discovered that TG can do QWK networked mail... looks interesting, ¨especially with the big upswing of QWK-style networks with the surge of ¨popularity in Synchronet. I don't know if there's any FAQs out there that cover this, but I think I can ¨figure this out pretty easy... even automate it. :) Do any of you have any experience in doing this? Seems Tim just didn't really ¨bother to document it (as Scott said, QWK-style networks have been dead for a ¨long time until Sync started being developed again). No need for us TG sysops not to enjoy QWK-style networks... when I get this ¨working, I'll let everyone know how I did it. Note that since I'm using TG/2, ¨I'll probably be using some OS/2-specific stuff to pull this off, but I think ¨it'll work. Only thing I'm not sure of is how do I set up the user (for the QWK packets) in ¨Telegard? Or do I just put a network ACS setup on my own personal account and ¨toss it in?
