Not necessarily. I went from a 15" to a 19" monitor 2 or 3
weeks ago. I kept the resolution at 800x600 because I want to
be able to read what is on the screen - not have a lot more
stuff on the screen that is too small to see.
Text at 800x600 on a 15" is SMALLER than 640x480 on a 14". And
1024x768 on a 17" is smaller still.
This is getting off-topic, so I won't say any more, and this should
be my last message on the subject.
