 Hi Brian

You mean with Hamcom? Question time! ;-)
A- Are you getting any signal at all through to Hamcom
B- Have you told Hamcom what com port to look for the interface?
C- If you are getting a signal through to Hamcom and you are just having
trouble getting clean copy, JOIN THE CLUB! :-( You need a KNOWN
unencrypted signal. If you're on the west coast KCNA was the easiest
to gnab as the signal were very strong. If you're on the East coast
try CFH Canadain Forces Halifax on 10536 and 13510 khz. They
alternate between FAX and RTTY. The RTTY will be 75 baud and 850
shift. You may have to switch the "KEYING" polarity. RTTY is fairly
tough with a stand alone, hardware decoder let alone a software
decoder. If all else fails, play with JVFAX. :-) By the way, the
reason I didn't give you freqs for KCNA is the fact they seem to have
shut down. To bad, they put a very strong signal into the west coast.
                               Ken
