subject: Delphi RAM Requirements

Hallo Steve,
SB> I was wondering what the smallest amount of memory anyone has run Delphi
SB> in successfully. I have 16megs in my system and have not trouble, I
SB> know someone that is only running with 8megs of RAM and said it ran at
one
SB> time, but wont now. Delphi 1.0 says it needs 6 megs, Windows runs
SB> marginally in 4 megs, so I told him to get more memory. I haven't
tinkered
SB> with it on a system less memory. Any tips, tricks or feedback?
I've tested it on an 386SX with 4MB and it works properly (but slow :-)
however Borland says Delphi needs at least 6 MB.
A Deplhi application runs on a 286 with at least 2MB Ram.
Greetings
