Hi, Raymond.  The support for "Exclusive Mode" is built into the
versions of IO.SYS shipped with MS-DOS 7.0 (W95/W95A) and
MS-DOS 7.1 (W95B/W95C)
I am not aware of any way to disable the "Exclusive Mode"
functionality -- nor to interfere with or reprogram the
Exclusive Mode capabilities.  This feature is hard-coded
into IO.SYS.
