The high IF is actually 21.4 in a HT440 or HT90.  Other than that, you are 
correct.  The one gotcha is that they use under or over injection based on 
the frequency range that you are in - because of image rejection issues.  You 
really need a manual to figure out the exact crystal frequency because of 
this.
