I appreciate your compiler comparisons and agree that your clean install philosophy is the best way to use multiple compilers. Why not buy a copy of Opus make and use it (cleanly installed) to do the makes? They're advertising both DOS and OS/2 now. You could give us all a test report and let us know whether it's better than the bundled makes.
