Wrong.  None of these are textbooks for learners.  They are reports of  
research, a totally different kind of publication.  Have you ever read one?   
I've read quite a few in physics, astronomy, education, public health,  
communications.  Not one resembled a text, nor should they have.  They are  
intended for a totally different purpose, although one could certainly learn  
something from them.
