There are several files in the RIP directory named MAX_MSG, with different 
extensions.
FWIW, I have "turned off" RIP in MAX.CTL. I set minimum RIP baud to 65535 as 
indicated by the instructions...so how do I stop this error message from 
filling up my log file and my hard drive?
