The person who posts these messages, ostensibly Bob McMillan, is a
spammer.
I post to this group occasionally, and with no prior communication with
the person who posts these messages, I ended up on his mailing list. 
I sent him email asking him to remove me from his list. Nothing happened.
I called his office and asked his secretary to remove me from his list.
Nothing happened. 
Finally I called his upstream provider and told the sysadmin that after
two messages, the poster would not remove me from his mailing list. That
was what it took to get off his mailing list.
