I did that yesterday and it wasn't any different.  Perhaps I jumped the
gun.  Isn't really an issue here at the moment although it did cause me to
wonder why the daily releases just for minor changes to one particular file
within any given package.  Isn't that what patch is for?  Wouldn't a patch
directory achieve the same end result that downloading the entire archive
without the unneeded bloat?  Now I didn't do a diff but my guess is that it
wouldn't have been all that much different from the source I already had
and a patch would have been a more appropriate way of doing these types of
things.  Perhaps I am being too oldfashioned and frugal?
