TB>> What is an IDE? SL> ...this is understandable. For those of us whose computer is _not_ SL> designed for an OS (instead of the other way around), and thus use a SL> CLI, an IDE is where we don't type SL> cc program.c SL> but instead hit F5 from the editing window where we also do our SL> debugging and helpfile lookups. Eh? You must be thinking of something besides an Amiga. I don't type anything to compile a program. I just double-click the "build" icon. What's so hard about that? The SAS/C compiler has an ARexx port with hooks so it can be integrated with any text editor, but I haven't yet found any compelling reason to do so. I can flip between my text editor and Workbench environment with a touch of the mouse button, so it's no big deal. --- Spot 1.3a #535* Origin: The Land Beyond (1:3612/42.26) SEEN-BY: 105/42 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 807 808 809 934 955 712/407 SEEN-BY: 712/515 628 704 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 3612/42 3615/50 396/1 270/101 105/103 42 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
