Look, Scott Dudley was the one that told me that's how it supports Y2k. Don't 
bitch to me about it. I personally don't care either way. Max was released in 
1995 (according to copyrights), and that was before the y2k problem was 
really big.
The bottom line is y2k is supported - you can continue to use it for a long 
time. (probably until 2032 or whenever it is when the unix time stamps run 
out. or maybe it will just make them 12 or 16 chars long (MSGID)).
Sure, it would be nice to have '2000', but i'm not the person to talk to.
