  He's not too hard, if you know the pattern.
  First, stay above ground on that one bar you can grab.  Fire up and down 
(when the boss is in the right spot) to make your shots.  When you see him 
start to fire at you, get moving!  You should be able to develop a rhythm for 
avoiding his attacks, or at least minimizing them.
