I've had experience with five of them (IBM VisualAge C++, MetaWare
High C++, Watcom C++, Borland C++, and EMX C++), and you can benefit
from some of that experience by reading the Pros and Cons list.
Read the list, decide which pros outweigh which cons for you, and
decide.

The SOMObjects Travel Guide (not published here in the echo, but it is
in the Pros and Cons Archive) goes into some detail on SOM toolkits
and the various levels of support available with each C++ compiler.
