SS> SA> Heart failure is always the cause of death, Maurice. The key SS> SA> is to justify what CAUSED the heart failure. SS> SK> I hate them thar silly absolutes. SS> SK> If someone is beheaded...is heart failure the cause of death? SS> SK> ;) Don't think so. SS>It certainly is. That's a simplistic thought! Then EVERYTHING is heart failure?!? NOPE! BRAIN DEATH is the actual cause of TRUE death. PERIOD! :-P You DO know that people can live without a heart in their body, right? And for hours upon hours! (with aid) Without a brain, they can't EVER be revived though. Shit the LIVER has more import than the heart nowadays! Your absolute is silly! DEATH tends to involve the stopping of the heart, of course, but the stoppage of the heart isn't always the cause of death. The cause of death in a beheading is the beheading NOT the stoppage of the heart! It IS the stoppage of blood flow, perhaps, but the shock would kill the head. SS>You may think the heart failure's cause is obvious SS>but what if the poor fellow was poisoned and the beheading was a SS>red herring? What if? SS>You don't stop with the obvious when you're looking SS>for answers and you don't stop at heart failure when you're looking SS>for a cause of death since ultimately everyone dies of heart SS>failure Wrong! IMO. Someone that is blown to bits by a bomb can't be called a "death be heart failure". It is..."Blown to tiny bits!". Your absolute is rendered untrue...as ALL absolutes are.
