DEATH tends to involve the stopping of the heart, of course, but the 
stoppage of the heart isn't always the cause of death.

The cause of death in a beheading is the beheading NOT the stoppage of 
the heart! It IS the stoppage of blood flow, perhaps, but the shock 
would kill the head.
