I am looking for an ms-dos program that will perform outbound telneting via
a modem. It needs to be character oriented rather than gui/graphical.
It must be able to accept keyboard commands/send screen output via a com
port. eg. com2 has the modem, com1 is a serial terminal that controls the
program.
I think I have the tools to do this, if I can find a standard
telecommunications emulator that can be setup so that all keyboard and
video is via the bios and the modem access is via the bios.
example: the screen/keyboard are run by using CTTY COM1 and the serial
line is intercepted by "tcpport" from the waterloo software
setup, and the ppp is provided by epppd.com.... etc.
Please respond if you have any ideas....
