GH>such as K-Mart dropped it. The Commodore graphics look better than GH>Nintendo anyway (well, not Super Nintendo). true.. the 64 was quite a legend machine... GH>still be going for a while yet. There were 10 doulbe disks full of new GH>releases from the party. I'm still getting them all. What we see in GH>Australia is only a very small fraction of what's been produced GH>world-wide. :( great stuff.!! I remember fondly the trading of wares, and getting nice fresh party stuff to look through... you should get MOST of the stuff rteleased o/seas -- if not get some better contacts mateee.. GH>The knockers said this before dycp, FLI graphics etc. It only takes a GH>little imagination to do something new. Alot of the demos I have seen GH>on the Amiga have been done on the 64 long ago. True it it's better, GH>but so it should darn well be. yeah/ 64 laid the platform for all other pirate scenes..!!! amiga guys do copy , yeah... but as far as new stuff goes, none of this will be to do with the technical limits.. new simple ideas of gfx manipulation and sinuses are all well and good but a bit boring... although the higher platform scenes are full of lamers the demos do look and sound rather good (although they are not very optimised code, and don't stretch any limits of any kind) 64 scene was great for the friendship, and the culture etc (and the rivalry :) .. those were damn good days!! and very fun and interesting also, although now I don;t have much time to play around.. I can't even do what I want to on PCee let alone have the time for small 64 !! GH>The Computer Graphics Institue ??(Of God knows where) have produced GH>publications describing complex graphic routines, these could be done GH>on the 64 with a little creative licence. as I said above, all well and good but not new oO WOW Oo technical limits GH>Menace, Shizam.. I'm not sure of the status of the rest. There are GH>more, but there has been a lot of group hopping lately. Interesting... shizam is a cool name...!! I would guess that the elites are those left over from battery and tdu etc.. those sorts... you know (I can't even remember half the names now- shit!) laid-her --- Ezycom V1.02 02fa0008* Origin: Data Express Australia +61-2-880-2646 (3:711/929) SEEN-BY: 640/316 711/808 809 929 934 @PATH: 711/929 809 |
