At least for Windows, install to a directory, run MYSTIC -CFG to config, go
to Servers > Internet Server Options, set your Interface IP to either
127.0.0.1, 0.0.0.0 or the actual machine IP.

Hit Telnet Server Options, make sure Use Telnet Server is set to Yes, set the
port you want to use (default 23), how many nodes (lines) you want to run,
and then open that port up in your router (if you're using one).

Afterwards, look in Editors > User Editor. I believe there will already be a
default Sysop account in there. You can just change the info you want in the
user editor. If not, just run MYSTIC.EXE, create a new account and set it to
Sysop level.

Look in the mystic\text directory for preuser.ans (I believe). That's the
splash screen.

When that's all done, just run MIS.EXE to run the server.

And that's it for the basics. Probably want to make a shortcut to your
desktop with MYSTIC.EXE -CFG isntead of having to type it out all time.
