I guess so :) Maybe it's just my UART 16550A's FIFO buffer that doesn't 
function properly. The SIO driver vertualizes this buffer and may avoid that 
problem this way.
BTW: could you also mention the current public beta flashROMs in you 
anouncements from now on?
