Greetings and felicitations Pat,
NT> 2. The target system is either colour text or CGA.
PP> I obviously missed this when I read it, any way here's some
PP> SCREEN 12 VGA code, I'm too tired to recode the thing now.
The reason for this Pat was so that *everyone* (with possible
exception of Hercules owners) could see it. By some happy chance this
arrived just as I got my new system (80286-16, vga, mono) which is a
big improvement over my old one (NEC V40, cga, colour) apart from the
lack of colour. To cut a long story short, the little program that
you sent was the first vga image that I saw on my new system. (O.K.
so I'm a pauper already )
 NT> 3. Keep it small.
PP> Might have over shot on this too. But...at least I didn't resort to
 PP> using The Draw.
Ooooh - nasty . But you have to admit that it was tiny :-).
Anyway how do you know that I did not use p-screen? I had hoped
for more response from this, ah well never mind. By the way, how are
you at drawing bunnies (easter anyone?), or hearts (st. valentine's
day).
On another matter Pat, now that I've got vga I've been able to look at
some of the old QB source code that I've managed to trawl from my
friend Ian's BBS's filebase and I've come across a stunning real-time,
solid with shading and shadows SCREEN 7 3D demo called solid5.bas. It
was written by Rich Geldreich in 1992 so most people in here won't
have seen it. Even though it is not my code, but I was wondering if I
could post it in here. The major problem with it is that when it has
been filtered with postit, it consists of 10 messages. Please reply
soon on this.

Byeee, Nigel.
