In reply to a message from Michael Hughes to Dave Chance:
Well, apparently my first response didn't get through so here I am back at
the Realm of Alternate Realities, one of the local Atari boards(Run on an
Atari by diehard Atari fans). In addition to the at least 4 Atari boards, we
have locally 2 Commodore boards one of which (Twisted Sky) has one of, if not
THE, most complete catalogs of file for the Commodore on this coast if not
the country. We also have 2 other boards that support any type of computer
and these are sort of Meeting places for people like myself who have
interests in computers other than IBM or MAC, although they support those as
well. Unfortunately for me, there are no CP/M boards, although there is a
local support group but in all these cases, the people who run the boards are
very dedicated to their projects and supportive of their caller base. In
fact, the Atari folks are almost aggressively so. As an owner of Ataris,
Commodores, Texas Insrtruments 99/4as (we have a 99/4A users group that
maintains a bulletin board that I call regularly also),and Kaypros, it's a
comfort to me to know that there is this kind of support out there.
