Hi, Allen! Recently you wrote in a message to Ardith Hinton:

AP> Dallas Hinton...

AP> Now there's a familiar name from days gone by.

Seems to me you've been in Fidonet for awhile too.... ;-)

AP> they don't want to cut on me because last time being
AP> diabetic I ended up with a nasty staph infection...

Hmm. I understand healing tends to be slow with type I
diabetes... and I guess that could make a person more vulnerable to
infection.

AP> I am beating odds because I have survived not only my
AP> first surgery but also a MRSA infection that was god awful.

          Yup.... :-)

AP> it looks like the lump is dissappearing... they used a
AP> type of radiation that kills only that area... and my
AP> body is dealing with it as it should.

Wow, that's great news! In view of your previous difficulties with
conventional surgery I'm glad to hear that there was a reasonable alternative
in this case & that it seems to be working well for you.

Take care & keep in touch.... :-)
