hello to all
I am new to this echo and would just like to say hi and to see if anyone else 
out there has a child with ADHD and ODD but as a secondary condition.
what I mean is that I have a 6 year old Daughter who was born with an 
intellectual and developmental delay... She has always had problems with 
Balance and fine motor and gross motor problems as well.... In November last 
year things changed for her when she had a violent and long lasting Seizure 
and she went from being a happy, caring and very loving child to being angry, 
hostile and very unhappy... finally the doctors decided to do an EEG and CT 
scan and found that she was born with mild brain scarring.... recently she 
was put on to Dexamphetamine and I have my beautiful, loving child back 
almost to how she once was.... I would like to hear from anyone that has a 
similar occurance. I know my daughter will never be totally how she was as 
ppl change etc but my fight with doctors over the years has finally becoming 
successful and life is settling down and is almost peaceful.... after 
all...kids will be kids :) and a totally peaceful life with children is non 
existance...but hey we can dream cant we :)
