Hello, Scott.
Sunday April 03 2011 at 14:19, you wrote to me:

I think the slowest machine running on my LAN now is 1.6gHz. Of course,
I'm now completely spoiled...

OS/2's been floating along for 15 years now and believe it or not, I'm
basically using the exact same OS setup that I started with all those years
ago. It's just been rock solid for me.

I'd never tried anything but OS/2 for many years. When I did try a
Windows-based board, I just found it more kludgy than my OS/2 setup so I
went back to what works for me.
These days, I'm too lazy to even think about doing anything else. I've
actually gotten to the point to where if I start having problems with the
board, I'd just soon shut it down as I am very, very quickly getting to
where I will have very little precious "downtime" let alone any
time to do any serious backend work on a BBS.
Later,
Sean
