My personal experience with Redux was terrible.  I had used phen/fen
for three months.  Held my own for several months until my thyroid went
underactive with the resulting weight gain.  Located a doctor willing to
give me a prescription for Redux.  Took one capsule a day (half what I
was told to take) and within a week I was constantly.  During the few
wakeful hours I had, my mental state was complete depression.  Realized
on day 7 that I'd spent an hour considering ways to commit suicide. 
Flushed the Redux immediately.
For me phen/fen worked and Redux was a disaster.
