-> LAH> . . . are on the crochet mailing list too? It's the
-> LAH> one run by Deb Arrowwood.
PK->I have never heard of this one. Tell me more!!
Actually, it's a lot of fun--more than 500 subscribers--thank goodness
not everyone posts everyday. That would be a long download.
I don't know how this internet mailing list would work with a
conference--I guess you would need a separate Internet e-mail address.
Anyway, to subscribe, send an e-mail to:
majordomo@rpmdp.com, and in the body of the message, type:
subscribe crochet and (your e-mail address)
For me, this line was: subscribe crochet lhamm@premier.net. Just leave
the subject line blank and turn off any signature lines.
If you find that this creates a long download time, you can subscribe to
a "digest-type" version of this same list. A digest is one e-mail,
composed of several of the e-mails posted to the list.
To subscribe to the crochet-digest list, send an e-mail to:
majordomo@rpmdp.com and type this in the body:
subscribe crochet-digest (your e-mail address)
After you subscribe to either and start receiving posts at your e-mail
address, you'll receive an information e-mail from the list owner,
stating the various rules and how to post instructions.
PK->If they aren't copywrited (and coming off the Internet I hope that they
->aren't) I would love for you to share them.
No, no copyrights, mostly patterns that these ladies and a couple of
gentlemen, have made up.
PK->Hmm, moderator? Who is that again? OH YES! It is ME!!
Hi Pat . . . I just could not recall who moderated this one. Thanks.
PK->No it is not
->against the conference rules at all as long as the patterns are not
->copyrighted. Putting anything on the echo that has a copyright on it is
->illegal and therefore NOT permitted.
Okay, thanks for the info. I forgt to mention this too . . . for anyone
who likes to crochet for dolls (that's me), there is a dollcrochet list.
Just follow the above directions and substitute dollcrochet (your e-mail
addy), in the body of the e-mail.
We have l-o-t-s of fun there and we're a very "chatty" group. There are
over 20 exchanges in operation and I just joined the Coaster/Motif
exchange on the list. Hope to see some of you there!
