Each of the numbers don't seem to have much in common, unless maybe you factor them. For instance, factor 24, count the factors backward from 24 4 times, look at the 1st factor before it, and the answer is 3. 24 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24 = fourth factor back 4, 3 is next 18 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 18 = fourth factor back 2, 1 is next 30 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, 30 = fourth factor back 5, 3 is next Thus the missing number in the table is 3. A fourth table entry might be: 36 1, 2, 3, 6, 12, 18, 36 = fourth factor back 3, 2 is next 36 1 4 2 Another example with different "count back" numbers: 24 2 3 3 18 2 3 1 30 2 3 3 36 2 3 2 So, either I got the answer right, or I've invented an entirely new answer...lol. --- SBBSecho 2.12-Win32* Origin: SETX Chat and BBS - Vidor, TX (1:393/31) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 393/31 396/45 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
