My Jenday conure "Ivy" did that with my greyhound when her cage was
temporarily in our living room. She'd push beans and bits of bird bread
out of the cage, and wait for him to come get them. When he did, she'd
run down to the bottom of the cage and try to grab his ears as his head
went under the cage looking for more treats! We put Ivy's cage in the
bird room as soon as we could. Fortunately she never did get ahold of
Tesla before we got a chance to move her...
