HS>Flea collars are useless. Go to a vet (I can recommend a good one in
HS>Sanford if you feel like driving a few miles) and get a product called
HS>ADVANTAGE for cats. (There's a doggie version too.) You only need it
nce
HS>a month and since I started using it, my four cats have been -totally-
lea
HS>free. I figured it costs about the same as the flea sprays, shampoo, and
HS>all that. I had a cat die once from a supposedly cat safe flea spray BTW.
HS>:( Which is why I quit using them. Advantage really does work.
I will back that up too! We have used it for our pets the last two
years - and boy, does it save problems - for both pets and humans.
BTW - the same treatment goes under different trade names. The one
we have used in this part of the country, (Montreal Canada) is called
Program. This treatment is MUCH safer for pets - AND humans than the
often toxic chemicals used.
HS>Mothballs on your vacuum cleaner bag will kill any fleas that you suck up
HS>into the bag while vacuuming..
PU! Now thats one I never heard. But one thing using "lefenuron",
there just won't be any flea population to vaccum.
