VU> Here's a small wish i have for an enhancement in 4DOS. The LIST command

JE> This could only be implemented in the TakeCommand

JE> support Windows's documents? Buy Office...
Why not? If i boot into 4DOs, like i frequently do, but i wanto read a DOC
file, then i need to go back to 95. And for 95 i don't need TC32. I have
Quick View Plus.
VU> LIST should aslo allow us to save any of these files to plain text
VU> format, with extraneous tags/formatting removed.
JE> It's a viewer, not and editor. If you want an editor, use
I said "SAVE", not "EDIT". So if i open a HTML file it shows me the complete
text and allows me save the text w/o the tags to .txt file. Similarly
with .xls or .doc files. In fact there are DOS viewers that allow it. I wish
they were built into 4DOS.
JE> an editor. Don't look for an editor in a command
JE> processor...
