If you want to retain the ability to write code for Win, Win32, DOS and DOS32 then look closely at Watcom. Both of these compilers produce pretty good code, certainly better than Borland by a long chalk. With regards to CSDs, I've found Watcom to be pretty good. They sent out a *free* bug-fixed replacement CDROM to all those who bought and registered a copy of 10.0 and their upgrade pricing is *significantly* better than that offered by IBM who seem to give very little discount for those who are upgrading from a previous version of their product. --- Enigmax v1.05a @PATH 772/350* Origin: === Enigma BBS, Akld, NZ. +64 9 480-0951 === (3:772/350) SEEN-BY: 620/243 622/407 623/630 632/339 640/705 670/215 690/347 711/409 410 SEEN-BY: 711/413 430 807 808 809 934 955 712/515 713/888 770/115 771/1320 SEEN-BY: 772/20 135 140 207 350 380 555 774/605 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 772/350 20 711/955 808 809 934 |
