| subject: | Amiga Disk reads? |
In a message on 06-02-95, Will Morgan said to All:
WM>How hard would it be to write a program for OS/2 (or any PC platform,
WM>I guess) that could read 880K Amiga DOS disks?
Impossible with any standard PC disk drive. Sorry.
WM>I figure it has to be
WM>possible, because there was a program for the Amy called DOS2DOS
WM>which could read/write IBM 720K floppies,
If A implies B and you have B, it does not imply A... (In other words,
your logic is flawed. :)
WM> I figure OS/2 would be the platform of choice for old Amigans).
It is. We just made sure we used DOS2DOS (or Messy-DOS) to copy all our
old disks before we ditched Amy. I hope you still have friends on the
other side of the fence if you've already sold yours.
