Yes, there are two bbs programs that I know of that provide source code, 
although in both cases they're pretty old. The source code for Maximus v1.02, 
compiled with Turbo C++ is available at www.juge.com, or on my bbs by special 
request.
The other one is an early version of XBBS (version 1.18 and another version) 
Again, the source code is available for download on my BBS, whose phone 
number and Fidonet node number are in the origin line at the  bottom of this 
message.
This may not be quite what you want, but, hey!!!1 ;)
