Hello joaquim!

Aint that the truth! :-)

The author of my mailer (MelMail) had a hell of a time adding EMSI, simply
because a number of his downlinks used PoP, amongst other things. While
EMSI would work fine between two MM sites, and fine with FD/IM sites,
things more or less exploded with FTS-6-only & PoP sites. (Portal
sends something like 20 INQ packets per second sometimes...)

FTS-1 is another thing altogether. We're so far from the FTS-1 state
tables that it would be impossible to even tell you used that
documentation. (This allows switching to a different session immediately,
depending on what the other end seems to want.. Makes for very fast
connections, but it's a real PITA to work on I guess.)

Take care,
Anthony
