It was DICK Cheney and his secret energy policy meetings where he gave
the concession to the oil industry to not have to use the automatic acoustic
blowout preventer in the U.S. to keep what just happened from happening.

Commonly used even when not mandated in S. America.

Cost would have been an additional 500,000 to B.P. as opposed to
the current 6 million a day they're wasting trying to deal with the mess.
