:-) I was actually talking about the UUencoded file. You know, the one which
was hard to read.

I gave it a bit of a look but thew it out when it failed to display the 
modem's
output when I tried to send it a command. I figure if it won't do that it 
also 
won't show what may be coming from any remote system, making it rather 
useless.
FWIW, I haven't yet done much better myself if I'm trying to use the com 
ports 
but it's a trivial task when using a FOSSIL.
