At the risk of starting an argument I do not want, I must ask: why do you
believe that an herbal remedy would have fewer side effects than a chemically
pure factory-made remedy?
The usual argument I've heard in favor of herbal supplements is that in
addition to the main ingredient (the vitamin C in rose hips, for example)
they include other compounds which do things the chemically pure vitamins do
not. You seem to be saying that the more complex natural compounds would
have fewer, rather than more, side effects and I don't understand that.
