-=> RUSTY BOWDEN was talking to BRUCE METCALF <=-
BM> Never apologize for joining an echo thread. If it were private, we'ld
BM> be talking via netmail. Welcome!
RB> Thanks. I'm not as big of a Disney fanatic as many of the people here
RB> seem to be, but I have always enjoyed Disney's movies, etc. Took my
RB> first trip to WDW last fall and thoroughly loved it. Hope to get back
RB> there and to DL soon.
BM> You may already have seen my post on this particular boo-boo. (The
BM> Carousel is at WDW now, not DL.) Remember, always have a designated
BM> typist when reading e-mail after midnight!
RB> :-)
BM> WDW has "The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular" at the MGM/Disney
BM> Studios, while DL has "Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden
BM> Eye". These are entirely different attractions. The former is a stage
BM> show that demonstrates stunts and special effects. The latter is a ride
BM> that sends *you* on an adventure. (Look out for the snakes!)
RB> That sounds like fun...but I *hate* snakes!
Hi ho, Bruce! Thought I'd break in on your conversation about Disneyland to
ask for details about the Indiana Jones ride at DL. We're not likely going
to get to DL for some time, but would love to hear from you on what you
remember of that ride. I wished Disney's Imagineers would add the ride to
WDW. At least we get to WDW! I can remember going on the Carribean at DL
years ago and when I finally got to WDW for the first time, thought it's
Pirates in the Carribean to be not as good. I guess Disney's Imagineers
couldn't dig very deep into Florida without hitting too much water? I
especially missed the restaurant, Bayou? where the wife and I enjoyed a very
romantic meal!
